The Spreewald Tourism Association offers the organisation of Christmas parties, group and team events, conferences, annual review or kick-off events in the Spreewald. Only about an hour away from Berlin and Dresden, guests can enjoy nature as well as be active and have lots of fun. The shared experiences in one of the most fascinating landscapes in Europe not only increase productivity, but also strengthen the sense of community and togetherness.
In September and October, the Spreewald with its autumnal flair lures teams out into nature for clou shooting, disc golf, survival training, GPS puzzle tours, torchlight hikes or farm Olympics. But paddling tours on the 1,575 km of running water in the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve are also a special experience at this time of year. If you start early, you can experience the awakening of nature with mist over the rivers. Events that are not dependent on the weather can also be organised in the Spreewald by partners.
In November and December, the Spreewald Tourism Association offers businesses joint cooking evenings with cooking courses or workshops. Cooking with regional ingredients, in a special location, whether vegetarian, vegan or on a special theme? Everything is possible! The teams enjoy an evening together where the focus is on conversation and togetherness. They can also learn how to brew beer or take a look behind the scenes of a whisky distillery with a subsequent tasting. All these culinary offers can be booked as one-day or multi-day events with themed boat trips or other active experiences.
Christmas parties are put together by the Spreewald Tourist Association according to individual company wishes:
"We have special restaurants and locations in the Spreewald that can accommodate both small and large groups, and we also offer fun entertainment programmes to round off the evening. We also like to extend the classic Christmas parties with good food and the chance to have a deeper conversation with colleagues with a wintry paddling tour that ends at a campfire and where the teams are welcomed with warm drinks such as mulled wine, cocoa or tea. Overnight stays are of course always an option," says Christian Matschke, responsible for the MICE business Spreewald Tourism Association. "Or you can opt for a punt trip through the wintry Spreewald together with your team. On Kaminkahn rides, mulled wine punt rides, light punt rides or legend punt rides, you can unwind and let nature cast its spell over you. Afterwards, round off the day in an atmospheric restaurant and enjoy your Christmas party."
Workation
Creativity in nature Some companies offer their employees the opportunity to spend a few days in a different place together with the team and either review the year or plan the coming year. In the Spreewald, these groups find the ideal location to let their creativity run wild.

Information on the Spreewald Tourism Association (Tourismusverband Spreewalde.V. ) The Spreewald Tourism Association (Tourismusverband Spreewald e.V. ) transferred the operational management of its tourism business to GLC Glücksburg Consulting AG on 1 June 2013. Thus, GLC AG is responsible for the entire tourism marketing of the destination Spreewald and is the central contact for tourism service providers and guests of the travel area.
